The Shed provides a making and creating space for people in the local community enabling them to make friends and learn new skills.
Donate
Your donation is used to provide tools and materials for arts and crafts, woodworking and other activities, and support the Shed running costs.

If you’re a local business, you can support us in many ways. Sponsor a t-shirt for a year, or help us with materials for the continued renovation of the Shed.
We are very grateful to everyone who has so kindly donated tools, equipment and material to Belper Shed. In many cases, these donations have been made following the death of a partner or family member. It is our privilege to honour the memory of fellow makers and craftsmen whose tools and equipment will continue to live on at the Shed, providing members with the opportunity to make and create.
Finding a passion and purpose through creativity is one of the mainstays of the UK Men’s Sheds Association. Through the community found in a Shed, members overcome loneliness, isolation, depression and bereavement.
All donations of items to a Shed make a difference and save lives.
If you have tools, equipment or any materials (such as wood, fabrics, arts and crafts) that you would like to donate to Belper Shed, please get in touch, and one of the team will contact you. Please note, we are a small team of volunteers and there may be a delay before we are able to respond.
We are currently unable to take new donations of tools – please contact UK Men’s Sheds Association or TWAM who will be able to assist you.
